Gigi Brass Incense Holder

We have collaborated with Sydney based artist and blacksmith Francesco Petrolo to craft a mesmerising cat's head out of brass. We love Francesco's raw talent; becoming a blacksmith in the South of Italy at the age of 13 gave him an unwavering fresh approach to the art of forging metalwork. His first piece for Maison Balzac, Gigi (this is the cat's name), is an incense holder with a presence like no other and comes in a limited edition of 50.

Made by hand in Sydney. Material: brass. Stamped underneath with the letters FF (Francesco's Forge) and MB (Maison Balzac). Limited edition of 50.

Height Without Incense 5.5 cm
Length 4cm
2mm wide hole to welcome the base of any incense stick

Place the incense holder on a stable, heat resistant surface.
Ensure the ash lands on a non-flammable surface as it can discolour furniture or create a risk of fire.
Wait until ash has completely died out before touching it to clean up.
Gently wipe the brass with a clean damp cloth to remove dust or residue.
Do not use to burn incense if the holder is damaged in any way.
Keep away from draughts, children, pets, or flammable objects like curtains.

Cadaqués

Our 2025 collection is a celebration of precious memories in Spain: Dali, Gala, the sun, the beach, the food, surrealism, happiness, finishing boats and pine trees by the Mediterranean sea..
